This is the second to last post for this years Ironman Coeur d'Alene. My fiancee and I have decided that my life just isn't where it should be to be pursuing the Ironman. Between my life with her, my life with my job and my life training i simply do not have enough time to devote to all of them right now. Those of you who have been dedicated to your IM training know that you have to make sacrifices in order to get your training in.
in order to continue training i would have to sacrifice my time/effectiveness at work or be emotionally unavailable for my financee right now.
let me take you on the journey that led me to this point. or let me tell you the major setbacks i have had:
1. I started a NEW job in december
2. I had a resipitory infection that lasted 5 weeks in february and march
3. I had major stomach issues in april
4. I got engadged in april
5. now in may things, important things are being sacrificed for my training
even still i tredged on in spite of these things.
but it has to end for this go around. i will make my final post this saturday. but for now know that "the dominator" is not done. just taking a pass on this one for this year. i don't want to say when i will schedule the next one but just know i will be a lot leaner and a whole lot more "dominant" when i do. till saturday.

it's bad enough that i have to put off something that i had planned for 3 years. and i posted this blog to open my life up for others. so i will not tolerate for one second ANY negative JACKASS comments by ANYONE!!! just as my swim coach said "training is for when your life is in order" right now mine is not. and at least i am both man enough to realize it isn't and do what it takes to put it in order. so for that "prescient" jackass anonymous comment poster i hope your life is perfect and in order and please don't be brave enough or stupid enough to start your on blog less someone as nice as yourself post "positive and uplifting" comments.
