Dude... It's warm out there. 75 and sunny in the winter? Gotta love TX. Anyways, my back is feelin' better. I will be going on a mountain bike ride today at river legacy. go down 2 loops and come back. that puts me at about 12 miles total and i finish it in about an hour.
I do plan on doing the mad duck coffee ride tomorrow morning so if you want to see the dominator that's where i'll be. With the weather the way it is right now unless i am paralyzed i'll be riding.
I am dreading swimming on tuesday. but unless i make myself start i never will. I am planning on swimming 800 meters (half mile) or 30 minutes which ever is longer.
I did ride today. I rode down to RL and did 1 and half loops then rode back. I LOVE mountain biking. It's so freakin fun i don't know why i don't do it more often. maybe because as far as ironman training is concerned you get little benefit from it. it's good for cross training every now and then but the risk of injury is higher and the workout is more anaerobic. I felt great on the ride today. i am amazed sometimes that a 287 lb guy can get around trees and sprint like i can. i should be thinner but my diet sux.

Swim Tuesday or death!!!
Diet: Stuff i ate this week that was bad. Bacon grease, whole milk, guacamole and chips, cheddar brats, egg nog french toast, chicken parm, fettuccine alfredo, candy canes, italian bmt, pink glazed donuts, garlic knots (evil garlic bread like rolls), lemonheads, whoppers. Next week i am dedicated to planning my breakfast every morning. I will let you know what i eat for breakfast everyday. I am planning on soy sausage, whole wheat toast, 1 whole egg, 1 egg white with low fat cheese. this about 370 calories and was part of my meal plan from my dietitian.
Motivation: this week it was tough so i need some encouragement guys. My new job is taxing. working for a dot com is stressful but fun. we have deadlines that don't move so nights and weekends are expected if you're behind. yesterday, friday, i left at 7:45pm and ate lunch at my desk. so how do you make yourself get the gym at 8pm on a friday after a stressful day? i will look into working out before work if working late becomes a habit. Like i said any encouragement would be appreciated.
